An "International Project Festival - 2021" was held on May 27 at the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas (IFNTUOG). The event is organized by IFNTUOG under the sponsorship of Andrii Boichuk, the Head of the Regional State Administration.
The 20 best international projects were presented at the Festival. The projects will be implemented by the following organizations: IFNTUOG, NGO "Bureau of Development, Innovation and Technology", Tourist Association of Ivano-Frankivsk, Agency for Private Initiative Development, Department of Investment Policy, Projects, International Relations, Tourism and promotions of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council together with foreign partners in Precarpathian region. The directions projects are different: from cultural heritage, innovative development, energy, ecology - to new educational programs, creative entrepreneurship.
The main objective of the event is to demonstrate the latest achievements as a result of international projects implementation, present IFNTUOG innovative potential, promote investment prospects of Ivano-Frankivsk region, exchange the ideas, establish cooperation and create a platform for negotiations with foreign participants.
An official opening of the event took place at the Science City “New Energy”. The participants were greeted by Rector of IFNTUOG Yevstakhii Kryzhanivskyi, Vice-Rector of IFNTUOG Maksym Karpash, Head of Ivano-Frankivsk RSA Andrii Boichuk, Mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk Ruslan Martsinkiv, Mayor of Botosani (Romania) Kosmin Ionuh Andrii, an expert of HUSKROUA ENI CBC 2014-2020 Program in Ivano-Frankivsk Oksana Shyichuk, USAID Energy Security Projects Manager Dean White, Director of the Program “Projects of the International Centre for Transfrmational Entrepreneurship of Coventry University” Richard Tomlins and other.
During the event everyone had an opportunity to visit renewed Geological Museum, Laboratories of Renewable Energy Sources and Information Technologies, Center for Innovations Development, Laboratory for Determination the Specific Heat of Municipal Solid Wastes, etc.
