Abdalqadir Samrang Smko Abdalqadir (CIE)

Abdalqadir Samrang Smko Abdalqadir  is a student of the Center for International Education of IFNTUOG, speciality  – Oil and Gas Engineering and Technology, group НСіа-15-1.

It is no coincidence that Abdalqadir Samrang Smko Abdal came into Ukraine. He had a dream – to become an engineer in oil and gas industry. When he found out about IFNTUOG, understood that this is a chance to make a dream come true. Warm reviews of graduates about the university have played a decisive role, mentioned about professional staff and great opportunities to acquire practical skills. And, let’s be honest, the tuition fee is affordable. In short, the benefits of "three -in -one". And now, during his second year in Ivano-Frankivsk, Samrang (by the way,  his Ukrainian is perfectly good) tells:

1- Of course it was difficult at the beginning. Another country, you live alone, and make all the decisions yourself, become more responsible… It is difficult, but also interesting. Because you have to learn another culture, understand different people. They are nice here and respond if you need help. I respect this country because its citizens are friendly with foreigners.

Samrang emphasizes teachers’ working style:

- They work very good, encourage students to achieve better results. This is extremely inspires for further work. Students who study with us also help. We feel support from the university in all the problems.

Samrang knows students’ problems very well, as he holds the position of Vice-President of the Student Parliament and always know about their issues concerning studies, organization and everyday life. He finds time to engage in public work and studies very well. He does not see anything extraordinary in his success. He says everything is simple: you need to prepare carefully for classes and be very attentive at the lectures:

- You should learn everything that teachers say, but work also by yourself, for example, look online for something related to a certain topic, watch proper video on YouTube before or after the lecture and consolidate learning material. I work individually for three or four hours a day.

Isn’t it simple? You should work a lot. This is not a quest for high scores. This is a responsibility before the family, parents who sent their son to study in Ukraine and worry about him, lay hopes on him. He tries because he really wants to live up to their hopes. And makes further plans:

- My dream is to receive bachelor degree in IFNTUOG and  to enter master degree in Canada, because I am going to work there and grow as a professional. But in the end, I still want to go home someday - it's for sure!

Samrang knows that it will be not easy.  But he is sure that you need to believe in God and yourself and know that different people experience various difficulties, and your problems are not the biggest.
