Creative hub "CREATE @ New Energy"
What?
The Bureau of Research, Innovation and Technology (BRIT), with the support of the Coventry University(CU) and Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas (IFNTUOG) is opening a creative hub on the basis of the New Energy "Science City" in the frame of the British Council's Creative Spark project for synergies between all newcomers in the development of their projects related to creative entrepreneurship and creative industries.
For Whom?
Students, entrepreneurs, designers, IT specialists and all business enthusiasts over the age of 18 who want to develop their startups and startup ideas
What gives?
- Opportunity to use the coworking area of the creative hub to work on projects, meetings, discussions;
- Opportunity to participate in free training activities from the project team (a partnership of the CU(UK), IFNTUOG and BRIT (Ukraine))
- Facilitation from the project team in the preparation of projects for participation in the annual BIG IDEA CHALLENGE (competition of business ideas with a prize fund) and other competitions of business startups;
- Perspective of synergy with other members of the hub.
How does it work?
- Coworking is open from 9:00 to 17:00 on weekdays. Operates in the premises of the science city "New Energy"
- Monthly pieces of training are held for hub participants from speakers from both the Ukrainian and British sides of the partnership. Using playful techniques for business startups:
- Business Canvas Cards Game and Business Canvas B Cards Game provide students with a canvas of their business ideas.
- Sprint envisages the creation of prototypes of business idea, which will be further improved.
- Lego Serious Play and Lego-A-Go-Go envisage the creation of a model of the ecosystem of the future business, which will be used in the future as an ideological basis for project development (can be stored in the form of photos/videos).
- Mentoring from the business startup project team of the creative hub participants - specific hours for each mentor (one hour per week).
