Chicaia Elias Claudio (CIE)

Chicaia Elias Claudio (Angola) is a student of the Center for International Education, speciality Oil and Gas Engineering, group НCia-15-1.

To be the best among students, to become highly qualified engineer were an ambitious dreams of Angolan guy while studying oil and gas in Angola. He has an example of a successful engineer, this was his father.  So it was a point of honor for him to become such a good specialist.

He decided to continue studies abroad. He was searching, analyzing and comparing oil and gas institutions in Asia and Europe. Sometimes the conditions turned out to be completely different than described. The boy got to know about Ukraine from his friends who studied in IFNTUOG and took an interest. His surroundings divided in their judgements. Some saw only endless distances, another language, different mentality and even annoyance. However, Elias did not pay attention, he, like a real man, used not to listen to anyone, believe in himself, go forward and learn.

Soon he saw colorful, prosperous country outside the window of the airplane, which should become his land for 4 years:

- And this experience was not for weedy men. Just take the Ukrainian language! But I used to move ahead on my way to victory. And the language challenge overcame successfully. Even Ukrainians are proud of my Ukrainian! And with the language, Ukraine became closer!

He considers his studies in IFNTUOG to be the best professional achievement. He is grateful to many teachers whose competence, incredible approaches to teaching professional disciplines motivated to study, self-development, work for future:

- I have a leading light.  I am not ashamed before my father with such knowledge and skills and feel confident in the oil and gas professional environment! IFNTUOG is the best indeed!
 

The university is also proud of such students who keep their eyes on the prize - per aspera ad astra!
